The NICTM Main Library is the central research and information Centre responsible for the information needs and research endeavours of the students, staff, and faculty members in the polytechnic and external researchers. It is the knowledge warehouse that supplies the information needed for the academic well-being of the academic programs in the polytechnic.

As the provider of scholarly information resources to the NICTM community, the library works in synergy with faculty members and students in the discovery, use, and management of information that support their research, teaching, and learning needs.

As a Federal Government owned Polytechnic, we embrace diversity of people and ideas, and guards against barriers between information resources and users irrespective of their religion, culture, background, political affiliation, ethnicity etc. We ensure equitable delivery of library and information services that meet international best-practices.

The main library is located in a one-storey gigantic edifice located at the NICTM Permanent Site along Uromi-Ugboha Road, Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria. The Library accommodates over 200 users at a time in the different library sections.

To cater for different categories of users, the Library acquires information materials in both print and electronic formats thereby promoting access and support to our users’ preferred choice of information need.
