The National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM), Uromi, has benefitted from its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) Sources
The Institute has its own articulated means of revenue generation to support the statutory subvention from the Federal Government, student fees payment and TETFund Interventions in an endeavour to improve the financial state of the Institute. These Internally Generated Revenues (IGR) endeavours includes:
NICTM is a consultant to constituencies/Zonal Intervention Projects across States in the country.
The established NICT Staff School which comprises crèche, nursery and primary school which has grown to be a veritable tool for revenue generation for the Institute.Â
Following the development of the NICT Staff School, PDSS forms the Secondary school arm of the Institute commenced in January, 2022, to further serve the community with quality education in the secondary level but also serve as a means of IGR to the Institute.
The various skills acquisition programmes are formidable means of revenue drive for the institute which fostered the relationship between the Institute and several organisations which include:
- Sergius Ogun Foundation with the training of over 137 trainees in various skills acquisition programmes
- Nigerian Air Force (NAF) with the training of 150 trainees in two batches.
- Industrial Training Fund
We product and supply potable water for sale to the Institute, the community and by extension the public.Â
