The National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM), Uromi, has benefitted from External Governmental Agencies Interventions

The National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM), Uromi, over the years have been able to benefit from external government agencies interventions such as the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF), Ecological Fund Office and Central Bank of Nigerian (CBN)

Universal Service Provision Fund

We secured through USPF, the Tertiary Institutions Knowledge Centre (TIKC) fully equipped with 50 computers, ICT equipment, 7.5KVA inverter with backup batteries and fibre optic internet connectivity by the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) at the Institute’s temporary site.

Ecological Fund Office Intervention

We secured an intervention from the Ecological Fund Office of the Presidency for the road project. This road project was awarded through the Ecological Fund Office and the 1.3km road was executed with side drains and completed in 2019. The project opened up the entire premises of the institute ‘s permanent site for academic activities.

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)

We successfully accessed intervention from the Central Bank of Nigeria with the provision of the ongoing 200 capacity male hostel and 100 capacity female hostel to enable the polytechnic to accommodate the anticipated influx of students. This was facilitated by Prof. Mike Obadan.
